Modern architecture, high functionality, economic and ecological execution were the basis of the design: On the occasion of the 100th birthday of Ernst Neufert in 1999, the Neufert-Box was built as a space for events and exhibitions. With the Neufert-Box, whose dimensions, material and manufacturing technology refer to the neighbouring residence of the former Bauhaus student Ernst Neufert, the executing architects wanted to make a contribution to the cultural life of the city of Weimar. Moderne Architektur, hohe Funktionalität, wirtschaftliche und ökologische Ausführung waren die Grundlagen des Entwurfs: Anlässlich des 100. Geburtstags von Ernst Neufert im Jahr 1999 wurde die Neufert-Box als Raum für Veranstaltungen und Ausstellungen errichtet. Mit der Neufert-Box, deren Abmessungen, Material und Herstellungstechnologie auf das benachbarte Wohnhaus des einstigen Bauhaus-Studenten Ernst Neufert Bezug nehmen, wollten die ausführenden Architekten einen Beitrag zum kulturellen Leben der Stadt Weimar leisten. Une architecture moderne, une grande fonctionnalité, une exécution économique et écologique ont été les bases du projet : À l'occasion du 100e anniversaire d'Ernst Neufert en 1999, la Neufert-Box a été construite comme espace pour des manifestations et des expositions. Avec la Neufert-Box, dont les dimensions, les matériaux et la technologie de fabrication font référence à la maison voisine d'Ernst Neufert, ancien étudiant du Bauhaus, les architectes en charge du projet voulaient contribuer à la vie culturelle de la ville de Weimar.
