Pennewitz - Tor zu "Airlebnissen" Pennewitz liegt am Nordhang des Langen Berges, an der B 88 nahe des Rennsteigs. Der kleine Ort hat eine sehenswerte Landschaftskulisse mit vielen Teichen und Ebenen, sowie ausgedehnte Waldstücke bis nach Paulinzella. Gut beschilderte Wanderwege und der Fernradweg "Thüringer Waldrandroute" mit Anbindung u. a. zum Saale- und Ilmtal-Radweg laden zum Aktivwerden ein, länger zu verweilen und einen ruhigen erholsamen Urlaub zu genießen. Ein ganz besonderes Er(Air)lebnis bietet das Chartern eines der kleinen Flugzeuge auf dem Pennewitzer Flugplatz, der geeignet ist für Segelflugzeuge und einmotorige Maschinen. Angeboten werden Rundflüge, wegen der regen Nachfrage auf Anmeldung, um unsere Heimat und den Thüringer Wald von oben zu erkunden. Selbst das Absolvieren eines Flugscheins ist möglich, wobei man sich dafür mehr Zeit nehmen muss.

The small village has a scenery worth seeing with many ponds and plains, as well as extensive woods up to Paulinzella. Well signposted footpaths and the long-distance cycle track "Thüringer Waldrandroute" with connection among other things to the Saale and Ilmtal cycle track invite to become active, to stay longer and to enjoy a quiet relaxing holiday. A very special experience is the chartering of one of the small airplanes on the Pennewitz airfield, which is suitable for gliders and single-engine airplanes. Round flights are offered, because of the active demand on registration, in order to explore our homeland and the Thuringian forest from above. Even the completion of a flying license is possible, although you have to take more time for it.

Le petit village possède un paysage pittoresque qui mérite d'être vu, avec de nombreux étangs et plaines, ainsi que de vastes forêts jusqu'à Paulinzella. Des sentiers de randonnée bien balisés et la piste cyclable longue distance "Thüringer Waldrandroute" avec des connexions avec les pistes cyclables de la Saale et de l'Ilmtal, entre autres, vous invitent à être actif, à rester plus longtemps et à profiter de vacances tranquilles et relaxantes. Une expérience très spéciale consiste à affréter l'un des petits avions de l'aérodrome de Pennewitz, qui convient aux planeurs et aux avions monomoteurs. En raison de la forte demande, des vols touristiques sont proposés sur rendez-vous pour explorer notre maison et la forêt de Thuringe depuis le ciel. Il est même possible d'obtenir une licence de pilote, bien qu'il faille prendre plus de temps pour cela.
