Die Ersterwähnung der Mühle erfolgte im Jahre 1316 (Mühle vor dem Görmartor). Die Mühle hatte ein Gefälle von ¾ Ellen (0,45 Meter) und war eine Mahlmühle. 1660 ist sie beim Pfuhlbrückenbrand mit abgebrannt. Im 19. Jahrhundert kam eine Ölmühle hinzu. Ein Großfeuer 1899 verursacht in der Mühle einem Schaden von 100.000 Mark. Es erfolgte der Wiederaufbau durch Wilhelm Wender (heutige Gebäude). Die Einstellung des Mühlenbetriebes erfolgte im Jahre 1991.

En 1660, il a également brûlé lors de l'incendie du pont Pfuhl. Au 19e siècle, un moulin à huile est venu s'y ajouter. En 1899, un grand incendie provoque des dégâts de 100 000 marks dans le moulin. Wilhelm Wender reconstruisit le moulin (bâtiments actuels). L'exploitation du moulin a été arrêtée en 1991.
The first mention of the mill was in 1316 (mill in front of the Görmartor). The mill had a slope of ¾ cubit (0.45 meters) and was a grinding mill. In 1660 it was burnt down during the Pfuhl Bridge fire. In the 19th century an oil mill was added. A big fire in 1899 caused a damage of 100,000 marks in the mill. The mill was rebuilt by Wilhelm Wender (today's building). The mill ceased to operate in 1991.
