The St. Lawrence Church in Probstzella is an important architectural monument. The oldest part of the building is the late Gothic tower basement with pointed arch vaulting. The nave with mansard roof was built in 1755. The spire in the form of a welsh dome was built in the 18th century. A baroque pulpit altar from the time the nave was built is noteworthy inside the church. The church can be visited for services and by appointment. The Bauhaus Hotel "Haus des Volkes" is located nearby and offers the opportunity to stop for a bite to eat.
Die St. Lorenz Kirche in Probstzella ist ein wichtiges Baudenkmal. Ältester Teil des Gebäudes ist das spätgotische Turmuntergeschoss mit Spitzbogenwölbung. Das Langhaus mit Mansardendach wurde 1755 erbaut. Der Turmhelm in Form einer welschen Haube entstand im 18. Jahrhundert. Bemerkenswert ist im Kircheninneren ein barocker Kanzelaltar aus der Erbauungszeit des Langhauses. Die Kirche kann zu Gottesdiensten und nach Vereinbarung besucht werden. Ganz in der Nähe befindet sich das Bauhaushotel "Haus des Volkes" und bietet die Möglichkeit zur Einkehr.
