Der Himmelsschauplatz Nüsttal-Hofaschenbach liegt direkt an der Extratour Ulmenstein. Tagsüber laden eine Picknickbank und zahlreiche Informationstafeln zum Verweilen ein. Der Heimatverein e. V. Hofaschenbach hat auf dem Gelände zusätzlich eine begehbare Sonnenuhr installiert. In der Nacht können dann Sternenfreunde den Nachthimmel entdecken. Der Himmelsschauplatz ist mit einem Polarsternfinder ausgestattet, mit dem sich der Polarstern finden lässt. Mit der Sternenkarte am Himmelsschauplatz findet man jedes Sternenbild. Der Fernglasaufsetzer sorgt für eine ruhige Hand und auf der Wellenliege kann man ganz entspannt den Sternenhimmel genießen. Zu finden ist der Himmelsschauplatz am Ortsrand von Hofaschenbach. Hierzu fährt man in der Ulmensteinstraße in Richtung Parkplatz Ulmenstein. Parken kann man direkt am Himmelsschauplatz am Straßenrand.
