Our original GDR soft ice cream from historic ice cream machines Who doesn't know it: the unmistakable soft ice cream from the GDR, which was in great demand in the summer months. Chocolate and vanilla, creamy, cold and a bit like in the old days - with us you can experience this classic in a new way. And the best thing is: we still tap our soft ice cream from the original GDR ice cream machines, which we have restored with a lot of love and craftsmanship. The so-called "Ilka ice cream freezers" originate from VEB Niedersachswerfen and were used throughout the country to produce soft ice cream. Anyone who wanted one of these machines often had to be patient for three to four years. Today, our machines are still running - with their typical humming and occasional whistling, they are somewhat reminiscent of old refrigerators and reliably deliver the ice cream of yesteryear. Whether classic chocolate & vanilla, fruity blueberry, creamy yogurt or other varieties - we have something for every taste. Nostalgia meets indulgence - try it out! Unser original DDR-Softeis aus historischen Eismaschinen Wer kennt es nicht: das unverwechselbare Softeis aus der DDR, das in den Sommermonaten heiß begehrt war. Schoko und Vanille, cremig, kalt und ein bisschen wie früher – bei uns erlebt ihr diesen Klassiker neu. Und das Beste: Wir zapfen unser Softeis noch immer aus den originalen DDR-Eismaschinen, die wir mit viel Liebe und handwerklichem Geschick restauriert haben. Die sogenannten "Ilka Eisfreezer" stammen aus dem VEB Niedersachswerfen und wurden damals im ganzen Land zur Softeisproduktion eingesetzt. Wer solch ein Gerät haben wollte, musste oft drei bis vier Jahre Geduld aufbringen. Heute laufen unsere Maschinen noch immer – mit ihrem typischen Brummen und gelegentlichen Pfeifen erinnern sie ein bisschen an alte Kühlschränke und liefern zuverlässig das Eis von damals. Ob klassisch Schoko & Vanille, fruchtige Heidelbeere, cremiger Joghurt oder weitere Sorten – bei uns ist für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Nostalgie trifft Genuss – probiert’s aus!
