Die Kirche in Kaisershagen ist eine einfache Saalkirche. Nach einem verheerenden Ortsbrand 1839 wurde die Kirche neu eingerichtet, das Chorgestühl und die Turmspitze erneuert. St. Gotthardi ist eine gotische, aus Muschelkalkquadern gemauerte evangelische Kirche. Sie bildet das Zentrum des Ortes Kaisershagen im Norden des Unstrut-Hainich-Kreises. Bedeutendstes Inventar ist der 1760 entstandene evangelische Kanzelaltar mit einer Höhe von 7 Metern. Auf der Nordseite des Kirchenschiffes befinden sich fünf Spitzbogenfenster mit Sprossen und auf der Westseite drei spitzbogig gekoppelte Fenster.

The church in Kaisershagen is a simple hall church. After a devastating local fire in 1839, the church was refurbished, the choir stalls and the spire were renewed. St. Gotthardi is a Gothic Lutheran church built of shell limestone ashlars. It forms the centre of the village Kaisershagen in the north of the Unstrut-Hainich district. The most important inventory is the Protestant pulpit altar with a height of 7 metres, which was created in 1760. On the north side of the nave there are five pointed arch windows with muntins and on the west side three pointed arch coupled windows.
