Leinefelde. In the heart of Leinefelde’s Südstadt district, a venue is taking shape for the State Garden Show that will surprise, inspire, and spark curiosity: the “Flower Block” at Bachstraße 15–23. The former apartment building of the Leinefelder Wohnungsbau Genossenschaft eG (LWG), built in the late 1980s using prefabricated construction, will be transformed into an extraordinary exhibition center for the duration of the Garden Show. As part of the core area within the paid section, the Blumenblock combines floristry, art, history, and regional themes into a multi-layered tour across five floors. From Vacant Space to Experience Space The prefabricated building has been vacated and gutted; electricity and water are available. The building is being specifically renovated for temporary exhibitions: the basement becomes the entrance area, and two stairwells serve as entrances and exits as well as escape and rescue routes. An elevator is being added, unnecessary interior walls are being removed, and openings allow for tours across the individual floors. This creates a clear visitor flow through a total of 1,883 square meters of exhibition space, spread across five levels, each with approximately 377 square meters. Balconies on the south side give the building an additional special backdrop and open up new sightlines. Flower Hall on the Ground Floor and First Floor The heart of the flower block is right at the entrance: florists led by Creativ from Kindelbrück transform the ground floor and first floor into an extraordinary flower hall within the prefabricated building. A total of twelve rotating flower exhibitions give the flower block a rhythm that makes every visit a fresh experience. Each display explores its own theme and focuses on presentation, atmosphere, and surprising contrasts.

Leinefelde. Au cœur du quartier Südstadt de Leinefelde, un lieu surprenant, inspirant et intrigant voit le jour à l'occasion de l'Exposition horticole régionale : le « Blumenblock » (bloc floral) situé au 15 à 23 de la Bachstraße. L'ancien immeuble locatif de la Leinefelder Wohnungsbau Genossenschaft eG (LWG), construit à la fin des années 1980 selon la méthode de construction en panneaux, se transformera en un centre d'exposition exceptionnel pour la durée de l'exposition horticole. Situé au cœur de la zone payante, le Blumenblock associe floristerie, art, histoire et thèmes régionaux pour offrir un parcours riche et varié sur cinq étages. D'un bâtiment vacant à un espace d'expérience Le bâtiment préfabriqué a été vidé et dépouillé de ses installations intérieures ; l’électricité et l’eau sont disponibles. Le bâtiment est spécialement réaménagé pour accueillir des expositions temporaires : le sous-sol devient l’entrée, deux cages d’escalier servent d’entrée et de sortie ainsi que d’issues de secours. Un ascenseur est ajouté, les cloisons superflues sont supprimées, des ouvertures permettent de circuler d’un étage à l’autre. Il en résulte un flux de visiteurs fluide à travers une surface d’exposition totale de 1 883 mètres carrés, répartie sur cinq niveaux d’environ 377 mètres carrés chacun. Les balcons côté sud confèrent au bâtiment un cadre particulier et ouvrent de nouvelles perspectives. Halle aux fleurs au rez-de-chaussée et au 1er étage Le cœur du Blumenblock se trouve dès l’entrée : des fleuristes, sous la houlette de Creativ de Kindelbrück, transforment le rez-de-chaussée et le 1er étage en une hall des fleurs exceptionnelle au sein de ce bâtiment préfabriqué. Au total, douze expositions florales temporaires donnent au Blumenblock un rythme qui rend chaque visite unique. Chaque exposition aborde un thème qui lui est propre et mise sur la mise en scène, l'atmosphère et des contrastes surprenants.

Mitten in der Leinefelder Südstadt entsteht zur Landesgartenschau ein Ort, der überrascht, inspiriert und neugierig macht: der Blumenblock in der Bachstraße 15 bis 23. Das ehemalige Mietswohnhaus der Leinefelder Wohnungsbau Genossenschaft eG (LWG), errichtet Ende der 1980er Jahre in Plattenbauweise, wird für die Zeit der Gartenschau zu einem außergewöhnlichen Ausstellungszentrum. Als Teil des Kerngeländes im Bezahlbereich verbindet der Blumenblock Floristik, Kunst, Geschichte und regionale Themen zu einem vielschichtigen Rundgang durch fünf Etagen. Vom Leerstand zum Erlebnisraum Der Plattenbau ist leergezogen und entkernt, Strom und Wasser sind vorhanden. Für temporäre Ausstellungen wird das Gebäude gezielt umgebaut: Das Kellergeschoss wird zum Eingangsbereich, zwei Treppenhäuser dienen als Ein- und Ausgang sowie als Flucht und Rettungswege. Ein Fahrstuhl wird angebaut, überflüssige Zwischenwände werden entfernt, Durchbrüche ermöglichen Rundgänge auf den einzelnen Etagen. So entsteht ein klarer Besucherfluss durch insgesamt 1883 Quadratmeter Ausstellungsfläche, verteilt auf fünf Ebenen mit jeweils rund 377 Quadratmetern. Balkone auf der Südseite geben dem Gebäude zusätzlich eine besondere Kulisse und eröffnen neue Blickachsen. Blumenhalle im Erdgeschoss und 1. Obergeschoss Das Herzstück des Blumenblocks liegt gleich zu Beginn: Floristinnen und Floristen unter Federführung von Creativ aus Kindelbrück verwandeln Erdgeschoss und 1. Obergeschoss in eine außergewöhnliche Blumenhalle im Plattenbau. Insgesamt zwölf wechselnde Blumenausstellungen geben dem Blumenblock einen Rhythmus, der den Besuch immer wieder neu macht. Jede Schau erzählt ein eigenes Thema und setzt auf Inszenierung, Atmosphäre und überraschende Kontraste. Hinweis: Für den Eintritt wird ein LGS-Ticket benötigt!
