About: Kindelbrück OT Kannawurf

Kannawurf est un quartier de la commune rurale de Kindelbrück et se situe au pied de la Wipper inférieure dans le nord du bassin de Thuringe. Il abrite aujourd'hui environ 800 habitants dans sa structure d'origine. La Hainleite, qui s'élève à plus de 400 mètres, s'étend au nord de la localité, tandis que l'Unstrut et la Wipper s'étendent au sud. Non loin de là se trouve la Porte de Thuringe, là où l'Unstrut s'est frayé un chemin à travers les montagnes il y a des millions d'années. La première mention de la ville date des 6e-9e siècles. La famille ministérielle de Kannewurf est citée pour la première fois en 1221. Le château Renaissance situé à la limite sud-est de la localité a été construit à la place d'un château d'eau et avait autrefois une importance stratégique en raison de sa situation sur une importante route commerciale. Albert von Kannawurf, mentionné en 1221, pourrait être le constructeur de l'ancien château. L'origine du nom inhabituel du village n'est pas totalement élucidée. L'église Peter&Pauls, qui existe encore aujourd'hui et qui était autrefois catholique, possédait autrefois de grands biens, et 12 monastères et églises des environs lui étaient autrefois subordonnés. Au nord du village, sur les contreforts de la Hainleite, un paysage de culture climatique a été créé pour résister au climat sec et doux du bassin de Thuringe. La culture fruitière à proximité (Kindelbrück) est très importante ainsi que la culture de produits agricoles sur les sols très fertiles de la plaine alluviale.

Kannawurf is a district of the rural community of Kindelbrück and is located at the foot of the lower Wipper river in the northern Thuringian basin. Today, it is home to around 800 inhabitants in its original village structure. The Hainleite, which rises to over 400m, extends to the north of the village, while the Unstrut and Wipper rivers spread out to the south. Nearby is the Thuringian Gate, where the Unstrut river carved its way through the mountains millions of years ago. The first mention of the village dates back to the 6th-9th century. The Kannewurf ministerial family was first mentioned in 1221. The Renaissance castle on the south-eastern edge of the village was built in place of a moated castle and was once of strategic importance due to its location on an important trade route. Albert von Kannawurf, mentioned in 1221, could have been the builder of the old castle. The origin of the unusual place name is not entirely clear. The Peter & Paul Church, which still exists today and was once Catholic, once owned large estates and was once subject to 12 monasteries and churches in the surrounding area. To the north of the village, at the foothills of the Hainleite, a climatic cultural landscape was created which is said to be suited to the dry, mild climate of the Thuringian Basin. Fruit growing nearby (Kindelbrück) is very important, as is the cultivation of agricultural produce on the very fertile soils in the floodplain landscape.

Kannawurf ist ein Ortsteil der Landgemeinde Kindelbrück und liegt am Fuße der unteren Wipper im nördlichen Thüringer Beckens. Es beherbergt in seiner originalen Ortsstruktur heute rund 800 Einwohner. Die über 400m aufragende Hainleite erstreckt sich nördlich des Ortes, während sich südlich davon Unstrut und Wipper ausbreiten. Ganz in der Nähe befindet sich die Thüringer Pforte, dort, wo sich die Unstrut vor Jahrmillionen den Weg durch das Gebirge gebahnt hat. Die Ersterwähnung fällt in den Zeitraum des 6,-9. Jahrhunderts. Das Ministerialiengeschlecht von Kannewurf wurde erstmals 1221 genannt. Das Renaissance-Schloss am südöstlichen Rand des Ortes wurde anstelle eines Wasserschlosses gebaut und hatte einst strategische Bedeutung aufgrund der Lage an einer bedeutenden Handelsstraße. Der 1221 erwähnte Albert von Kannawurf könnte der Erbauer der alten Burg gewesen sein. Die Herkunft des ungewöhnlichen Ortsnamens ist nicht gänzlich geklärt.  Die noch heute existierende und ehemals katholische Peter&Pauls-Kirche besaß einst größere Güter, ihr unterstanden einst 12 Klöster und Kirchen der Umgebung. Nördlich des Ortes, an den Ausläufern der Hainleite, wurde eine Klimakulturlandschaft geschaffen, die dem trocken-milden Klima des Thüringer Beckens gewappnet sein soll. Der Obstanbau in der Nähe (Kindelbrück) ist sehr bedeutsam sowie der Anbau landwirtschaftlicher Produkte auf den sehr fruchtbaren Böden in der Auenlandschaft.
