Le chemin culturel des Vögte invite à une quête de traces dans l'histoire médiévale des Vögte - une époque toutefois qui ne se révèle à Greiz qu’au second regard. Ici, les successeurs des Vögte, les Reußen, ont laissé des témoins architecturaux impressionnants ainsi que de précieuses collections d'art. Le parcours commence à l'office de tourisme situé dans le Château Inférieur de Greiz. Promenez-vous d'abord devant la Ancienne Garde jusqu'au Palais d’été, qui abrite la collection d’imprimés et de gravures d’État ainsi que le Satiricum. Des concerts y ont régulièrement lieu. Une promenade relaxante vous attend ensuite dans le Parc princier de Greiz. La particularité du musée situé dans le Château Supérieur réside dans la combinaison d’une structure historique unique datant du 12e au 19e siècle avec une histoire interactive. L'exposition permanente « Du pays des Vögte au principauté Reuß de l’ancienne lignée » est une expérience pour toute la famille. Parmi les caractéristiques remarquables du musée dans le Château Supérieur figure la Chapelle double romane du 12e siècle. L’exposition permanente mentionnée se poursuit dans le Château Inférieur, reconstruit dans le style classique après l’incendie de la ville de 1802-09. Les appartements princiers et la salle de réception sont des pièces maîtresses de la culture aristocratique du logement. La dernière étape de la visite est l'Église de la ville Saint-Marien.

The Culture Trail of the Vögte invites you to a search for traces in the medieval history of the Vögte - an era, however, that only reveals itself in Greiz on a second look. Here, the successors of the Vögte, the Reussen, have left impressive architectural evidence as well as valuable art collections. The route starts at the Tourist Information, located in the Lower Castle Greiz. First, stroll past the Old Guard to the Summer Palace, which houses the State Book and Copperplate Collection as well as the Satiricum. Concerts also regularly take place here. Then, the Princely Greiz Park invites you to a relaxed walk. The special feature of the museum in the Upper Castle is the combination of unique historic building fabric from the 12th to the 19th century with interactive history. The permanent exhibition "From the Land of the Vögte to the Principality of Reuss Elder Line" is an experience for the whole family. One of the outstanding highlights of the museum in the Upper Castle is the Romanesque Double Chapel from the 12th century. The mentioned permanent exhibition continues in the Lower Castle, which was rebuilt in the neoclassical style after the city fire of 1802-09. The princely rooms and the festival hall are masterpieces of noble living culture. The last stop of the tour is the St. Mary's City Church.

Der Kulturweg der Vögte lädt ein zu einer Spurensuche in die mittelalterliche Geschichte der Vögte - eine Epoche allerdings, die sich hier in Greiz erst auf dem zweiten Blick erschließt. Hier haben die Nachfolger der Vögte, die Reußen, eindrucksvolle bauliche Zeugnisse, aber auch wertvolle Kunstsammlungen hinterlassen. Die Tour startet an der Tourist-Information, die sich im Unteren Schloss Greiz befindet. Spazieren Sie zunächst an der Alten Wache vorbei zum Sommerpalais, das die Staatliche Bücher- und Kupferstichsammlung sowie das Satiricum beherbergt. Regelmäßig finden hier auch Konzerte statt. Zu einem entspannten Spaziergang lädt anschließend der Fürstlich Greizer Park ein. Die Besonderheit des Museums im Oberen Schloss ist die Verbindung der einzigartigen historischen Bausubstanz aus dem 12. bis 19. Jahrhundert mit interaktiver Geschichte. Die Dauerausstellung „Vom Land der Vögte zum Fürstentum Reuß älterer Linie“ wird ein Erlebnis für die ganze Familie.  Zu den herausragenden Besonderheiten des Museums im Oberen Schlosses gehört die Romanische Doppelkapelle aus dem 12. Jahrhundert.  Die erwähnte Dauerausstellung findet ihre Fortsetzung im Unteren Schloss, das nach dem Stadtbrand 1802-09 im klassizistischen Stil wieder errichtet wurde. Die Fürstlichen Räume und der Festsaal sind Glanzstücke adliger Wohnkultur. Letzte Station des Rundgangs ist die Stadtkirche St. Marien.
