Empfehlenswert ist es, sich zu Fuß auf Spurensuche zu begeben. Nutzt man das gut ausgeschilderte Wanderwegenetz, so ergibt sich ein rund 10 km langer Rundweg. Er verbindet die schönsten Sehenswürdigkeiten mit der fast unberührten Natur am Ufer von Weißer Elster und Weida. Zwei Einstiegspunktebieten sich an: das ehemalige Nonnenkloster und Kornhaus in Weida oder die historische Holzbrücke in Wünschendorf. In Weida führt der Spaziergang zur Stammburg der Vögte - zur Osterburg. Auf einem abwechslungsreichen Spaziergang durch die Altstadt präsentiert sich Weida mit seinen Sakralbauten ausdem Mittelalter: die Stadtkirche St. Marien, die Peterskirche und die Widenkirche. In Wünschendorf triff t man auf die älteste Kirche des Vogtlands - die Pfarrkirche St. Veit. Auf dem Weg dorthin liegt das einstige Hauskloster der Vögte von Weida: das Prämonstatenserstift Mildenfurth. Entspannung, Genuss und individuelle Unterkünfte findet man auf dieser Etappe in Weida, Wünschendorf und Endschütz.

Il relie les plus belles curiosités à la nature presque intacte sur les rives de la Weiße Elster et de Weida. Deux points de départ sont possibles : l'ancien couvent des moniales et la maison du grain à Weida ou le pont en bois historique à Wünschendorf. À Weida, la promenade mène au château originel des Vögte - l’Osterburg. Lors d’une promenade variée dans la vieille ville, Weida se présente avec ses édifices sacrés du Moyen Âge : l’église paroissiale St. Marien, l’église Saint-Pierre et l’église Widenkirche. À Wünschendorf, on rencontre la plus vieille église du Vogtland - l’église paroissiale St. Veit. Sur le chemin, se trouve l'ancien monastère familial des Vögte de Weida : l'abbaye prémontrée de Mildenfurth. In Wünschendorf, you encounter the oldest church in the Vogtland – the parish church St. Veit.
