La randonnée commence au parking de la vallée de Lubenbach et offre dès le début une opportunité intéressante de visiter la Gesenkschmiede historique (0,6 km).  Après le pont, un panneau indique à gauche vers "Sterngrund". Le chemin original monte jusqu'à la L 3247, qu'il faut maintenant traverser (attention au trafic !). Passer à gauche de l'auberge Sterngrund (1,6 km) et continuer jusqu'à la bifurcation vers la fontaine Veilchenbrunnen. À ce plateau (2,8 km), selon les panneaux, on accède à deux tremplins à Kanzlersgrund (4,0 km). Ici, tu peux faire un bon entraînement de condition physique, descendre les escaliers à côté des tremplins (et regarder les énormes tremplins d'en bas) puis remonter rapidement les 632 marches ;-) La randonnée continue ensuite vers Grenzadler (6,0 km), où l'on peut visiter le stade de biathlon, pour ensuite se diriger vers Oberhof et découvrir rapidement une nouvelle attraction : la salle de ski, où il fait hiver toute l'année. Suivent la remontée Fallbach et la piste de luge et de bobsleigh. Après 8,7 km, tu as atteint le centre d'Oberhof et peux conclure cette randonnée riche en expériences. Visite l'un des nombreux établissements gastronomiques de la ville si ce n'est pas encore fait (voir plus d'infos). Pour le retour, prends le bus de ligne (422) ou continue à pied sur l'un des nombreux sentiers de randonnée.

The tour starts at the Lubenbachtal parking lot and immediately offers an interesting opportunity to visit the historic drop forge (0.6 km). After the bridge, a sign points left to "Sterngrund." The original path leads uphill to L 3247, which now must be crossed (please be careful and watch traffic!). Pass the Sterngrund inn (1.6 km) on the left and continue to the junction to Veilchenbrunnen. Upon reaching this plateau (2.8 km), you can follow signposts to two ski jumps in Kanzlersgrund (4.0 km). Here you can get a good fitness workout by going down the stairs beside the jumps (and viewing the massive ski jumps from below) and briskly climbing the 632 steps back up ;-) Next, continue to Grenzadler (6.0 km), where you can see the biathlon stadium. From there, head towards Oberhof to experience the next highlight: the ski hall, where winter prevails all year round. This is followed by the Fallbach lift and the luge and bobsleigh track. After 8.7 km, you reach Oberhof's town center, where you can conclude the eventful hike. If you haven't yet, visit one of the many gastronomic establishments in the town (see more info). For the return journey, take the line bus (422) or continue on foot along one of the various hiking trails.

Am Wanderparkplatz Lubenbachtal beginnt die Tour und bietet gleich zu Beginn eine interessante Möglichkeit, die historische Gesenkschmiede (o,6 km) zu besuchen.  Nach der Brücke weist ein HInweisschild links ab zum "Sterngrund". Der ursprüngliche Pfad führt bergan bis zur L 3247, welche nun überquert werden muss (Bitte Vorsicht und auf den Verkehr achten!). Am Gasthaus Sterngrund (1,6 km) links vorbei  und weiter bis zum Abzweig zum Veilchenbrunnen. An diesem Plateau (2,8 km) angekommen gelangt man entsprechend den Wegweisern zu zwei Schanzen im Kanzlersgrund (4,0 km). Hier kann man ein gutes Konditionstraining absolvieren, die  Treppen neben der Schanzen hinab gehen (und die gewaltigen Schanzen von unten zu betrachten) und zügig die 632 Stufen wieder hinauf zu gehen;-) Weiter geht es nun zum Grenzadler (6,0 km), wo man das Biathlonstadion anschauen kann, um in Richtung Oberhof gleich das nächste Highlight zu erleben: die Skihalle, wo ganzjährig Winter herrscht. Es schließen sich der Fallbachlift und die Rennschlitten- und Bobbahn an. Nach 8,7 km haben Sie die Ortsmitte von Oberhof erreicht und können nun die erlebnisreiche Wanderung ausklingen lassen. Besuche eine der vielen gastronomischen Einrichtungen der Stadt, wenn unterwegs (siehe weitere Infos) noch nicht geschehen. Für den Rückweg nehme den Linienbus (422) oder weiter zu Fuß auf einem der verschiedenen Wanderwege.
