Der Ausgangspunkt der Radtour ist das Schloss mit zugehöriger Parkanlage in Ettersburg (UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe „Klassisches Weimar“). Lassen Sie sich hier von dem romantisch angelegtem Landschaftsgarten inspirieren, wie es einst auch berühmte Dichter, Denker und Musiker taten. Durch die Klassikerstadt Weimar gelangen Sie über den Schlosspark Tiefurt zum Renaissancegarten in Kromsdorf mit einer ganz besonderen Schlossmauer. Das Ziel der Tour ist die Glockenstadt Apolda, die mit dem Gartendenkmal der Herressener Promenade und dem Paulinenpark Gastgeber der 4.Thüringer Landesgartenschau 2017 war. Mit einem Besuch im renommierten Kunsthaus Apolda Avantgarde runden Sie Ihre Tour ab.

Thüringer Landesgartenschau Blütezeit Apolda und gliedert sich nach der grundhaften Sanierung in drei Flächen: den urban geprägten Lohteich mit Stadtterrasse, den naturnah gestalteten Friedensteich mit Seerosenbalkon sowie die Festwiese. Diese sind mit einem umlaufenden Hauptweg sowie diversen kleineren Wegen verbunden. Charakteristisch sind die Alleen mit Altbaumbeständen, die eine natürliche Raumgrenze entlang der Längsseiten formen. Die Grenze und zugleich den Übergang zwischen der Innenstadt bildet die Adolf-Aber-Straße auf der einen und die ca. 8 Meter hohe Rasenskulptur auf der anderen Seite Richtung Herressen.</p> <p>Heute überzeugt die 15 Hektar große Herressener Promenade mit ihrem alten Baumbestand und im Sinne eines Landschaftsparks mit spannungsreichen Blickachsen zwischen schattigen Baumalleen, sonnigen Wiesen mit Solitärbäumen und den beiden Teichen. Ces zones sont reliées par un chemin principal circulaire et plusieurs petits chemins. Les allées bordées de vieux arbres forment une délimitation naturelle tout le long des côtés longs. Près de la localité, les cyclistes disposent d’une aire de repos bien équipée offrant une vue magnifique sur la campagne. En passant par le domaine Wielandgut à Oßmannstedt, la piste mène à Oberroßlar, où vous quittez la piste cyclable de la vallée de l'Ilm. Traversez la B 87 à Oberroßlar et continuez par le chemin Herressener. Tournez à gauche sur la Schieringstraße, puis après environ 400 m à droite sur la Rathenaustraße. Vous arrivez directement à la rue Herressener qui longe la promenade Herressener. Là vous attend l'ancien site de l'exposition horticole d'État. Après une petite pause au pavillon (kiosque), vous pouvez louer un bateau à rames et naviguer sur le Lohteich. Ensuite, continuez à travers le centre-ville d'Apolda jusqu'à la Bahnhofstraße vers le parc Pauline. Le jardin terrasse ensoleillé et le verger d’anciennes pommes vous charmeront par leur magnifique vue sur l’église Luther. De nombreux bancs vous invitent à la détente pour profiter de cette oasis verte à la Bahnhofstraße. Vos enfants peuvent s’amuser sur la nouvelle aire de jeux. Depuis le parc Pauline, vous accédez directement au jardin des cloches du musée historique GlockenStadt et au café Ella. De là, la gare d'Apolda n’est plus qu’à un jet de pierre.</p>

This leads you to the Laura cycle path. Follow this cycle path sign to Goetheplatz. Here you continue on the Laura cycle path over the "Graben" to the Kegel Bridge (crossing the Ilm) in the Park on the Ilm. Directly after the bridge, go onto the Ilmtal cycle path. Here a detour via Tiefuter Allee is signposted. Follow this over Fuchsleite to Robert-Blum-Straße, which leads back to the Ilmtal cycle path. The parks of Tiefurt and Kromsdorf are connected by the Maria-Pawlowna promenade. Arrived at Kromsdorf Palace Park, you can admire the palace wall with 64 sandstone busts of historic and exotic personalities. It is a unique object of art history in Europe. From Kromsdorf Palace Park, continue on the Ilmtal cycle path. In Denstedt, the mill and castle above the Ilm stand out. Near the village, cyclists find a well-equipped rest area offering a wonderful view over the landscape. Past the Wieland estate in Oßmannstedt, the cycle path leads to Oberroßlar, here leaving the Ilmtal cycle path. Cross the B 87 at Oberroßlar and then continue on Herressener Way. Turn left onto Schieringstraße and after about 400 m right again onto Rathenaustraße. You now reach the Herressener Street which leads along the Herressener Promenade. Here you will find the former state garden show area. After a short break at the boathouse (kiosk), you can rent a rowboat and go on the Lohteich. Then continue through Apolda's city center to Bahnhofstraße to the Paulinenpark. The sunny terrace garden and the orchard meadow with old apple varieties will delight you with their magnificent view of the Luther Church. You can find rest on numerous benches and enjoy the green oasis on Bahnhofstraße. Meanwhile, your children can play on the newly created playground. From the Paulinenpark, you have direct access to the bell garden of the historic GlockenStadtMuseum and to Café Ella. From here, it is only a stone's throw to Apolda Train Station.</p>
