About: Auf den Spuren der Laura-Bahn On the tracks of the Laura railway Sur les traces de la Laura-Bahn

Ausgangspunkt der Tour ist der Campingplatz ThürKies See-Camping am Alperstedter See. Von dort aus geht es auf der ehemaligen Trasse der Laura-Schmalspurbahn nach Schloßvippach, wo u.a. eine im Original errichtete Bahnstation der Laura-Bahn in Augenschein genommen werden kann. Auch die Ruine des ehmaligen Schlosses am Ostrand kann bei Bedarf besichtigt werden. Danach lässt sich die Fahrt nach Sömmerda fortsetzen. Die Tour führt über den schattigen Stadtpark Sömmerdas schließlich auf den Unstrut-Radweg nach Schallenburg. Von dort geht es über einen der typischen Ackerhügel mit toller Fernsicht hinunter in das Alperstedter Ried und zurück zum Alperstedter See.

Le point de départ du parcours est le camping ThürKies See-Camping au lac Alperstedter. De là, on emprunte l'ancienne voie de la Laura-Schmalspurbahn jusqu'à Schloßvippach, où l'on peut notamment voir une gare de la Laura-Bahn reconstruite à l'identique. Les ruines de l'ancien château à l'est peuvent également être visitées si souhaité. Ensuite, la route continue vers Sömmerda. Le parcours passe enfin par le parc ombragé de la ville de Sömmerda avant d’atteindre la piste cyclable de l’Unstrut vers Schallenburg. De là, on descend par l’une des collines typiques des champs offrant une belle vue panoramique pour rejoindre la zone humide d’Alperstedter et revenir au lac Alperstedter.

The starting point of the route is the ThürKies See-Camping campsite at Alperstedter See. From there, it goes on the former track of the Laura narrow-gauge railway to Schloßvippach, where, among other things, an original station of the Laura railway can be viewed.
