Die LOTTO Thüringen SCHANZENANLAGE im Kanzlersgrund besteht aus der Großschanze „Hans Renner“ (HS 140) sowie der Normalschanze „Rennsteig“ (HS 100). Die Großschanze – einst die größte Schanze der ehemaligen DDR – wurde von 1959 bis 1961 errichtet. Die erste Belegung mit Aufsprunghangmatten erfolgte 1979 und ermöglichte fortan neben dem Winter- auch den Sommerbetrieb. Von 1984 bis 1987 wurde der Bau der Normalschanze vorgenommen. Die einstige 90-Meter-Anlage ersetzte die in die Jahre gekommene „Thüringenschanze“ (Holzkonstruktion) am Wadeberg. Im Frühjahr 2013 begann der Umbau der Anlage. Die Normalschanze wurde abgerissen und komplett neu erbaut. Zudem wurden die Ausläufe beider Schanzen zu einem Aufsprunghang verbunden. Im September 2018 erfolgte die Fertigstellung des neuen Kampfrichterturmes, der dem Design der Normalschanze angeglichen wurde.
Le Tremplin LOTTO Thüringen à Kanzlersgrund se compose du grand tremplin "Hans Renner" (HS 140) et du tremplin normal "Rennsteig" (HS 100). Le grand tremplin - autrefois le plus grand tremplin de l'ex-RDA - a été construit de 1959 à 1961. La première installation de tapis de saut a eu lieu en 1979 et a permis dès lors une exploitation non seulement en hiver mais aussi en été. De 1984 à 1987, le tremplin normal a été construit. L'ancienne installation de 90 mètres a remplacé le "tremplin de Thuringe" (construction en bois) vieillissant de Wadeberg. La transformation de l'installation a commencé au printemps 2013. Le tremplin normal a été démoli et entièrement reconstruit. De plus, les sorties des deux tremplins ont été reliées pour former une pente de saut. En septembre 2018, la nouvelle tour des juges, dont le design a été adapté à celui du tremplin normal, a été achevée.
The LOTTO Thüringen SCHANZENANLAGE in Kanzlersgrund consists of the large hill "Hans Renner" (HS 140) and the normal hill "Rennsteig" (HS 100).
