Das Mülverstedter Kreuz befindet sich unweit des Ihlefeldes an der "Hohen Straße", einem alten Handelsweg über den Hainich. Es besitzt keine Zeichen und Inschriften. So ist der Anlass seiner Entstehung unbekannt. Es könnte sich um ein Steinkreuz für einen Verstorbenen handeln, wie man einige im Hainich findet.
La croix de Mülverstedt se trouve non loin de l'Ihlefeld, sur la "Hohen Straße", une ancienne voie commerciale traversant le Hainich. Elle ne possède ni signes ni inscriptions. On ne connaît donc pas la raison de sa création. Il pourrait s'agir d'une croix en pierre pour un défunt, comme on en trouve quelques-unes dans le Hainich.
The Mülverstedt cross is located not far from the Ihlefeld on the "Hohe Straße", an old trade route across the Hainich. It has no signs or inscriptions. The reason for its creation is therefore unknown. It could be a stone cross for a deceased person, as can be found in the Hainich.
