Wittershausen est un quartier du marché d'Oberthulba. Le village est situé à seulement 5 km de la sortie d'autoroute A7 d'Oberthulba. Il est situé dans une légère dépression entourée de forêts. Un bâtiment remarquable est la nouvelle église de 1957/58 en forme de pentagone, qui a remplacé l'ancienne église du 14ème siècle. La piste cyclable permet de rejoindre facilement la ville voisine de Bad Kissingen, classée au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO, ou les ruines d'Aura dans la ville voisine d'Aura a.d. Saale. De là, de nombreuses pistes cyclables mènent à travers la vallée franconienne de la Saale.
Wittershausen is a district of the market town of Oberthulba. The village is only 5 km from the A7 highway exit Oberthulba. It lies in a slight depression surrounded by woods. A remarkable building is the new church from 1957/58 in the shape of a pentagon, which replaced the old church from the 14th century. The cycle path takes you easily to the nearby UNESCO World Heritage town of Bad Kissingen or to the Aura ruins in neighboring Aura a.d. Saale. From there, numerous cycle paths lead through the Franconian Saale valley.
Wittershausen ist ein Ortsteil des Marktes Oberthulba. Das Dorf ist nur 5 km von der A7 Autobahnabfahrt Oberthulba entfernt. Es liegt in einer leichten Senkte umgeben von Wäldern. Ein bemerkenswertes Gebäude ist die neue Kirche aus dem Jahr 1957/58 in Form eines Fünfecks, welche die alte Kirche aus dem 14. Jahrhundert ersetzt hat. Über den Fahrradweg gelangt man leicht in die nahegelegene UNESCO-Welterbestadt Bad Kissingen oder zur Ruine Aura im angrenzenden Aura a.d. Saale. Von dort führen zahlreiche Radweg durch das Fränkische Saaletal.
