The town museum and school museum is located in the tower building of Ronneburg Castle and is run by the local history society of the town of Ronneburg. In the tower building, the local history society informs about historical events and shows how generations before us lived. Those who would like to try their hand at an old school desk have the opportunity to do so. On two floors you can see a farmhouse parlour, a living room in the style of 1900 and a classroom with inventory of different generations. The history of the GDR and a small area tell about mining in the region.
Das Stadtmuseum und Schulmuseum befindet sich im Turmgebäude des Ronneburger Schlosses und wird vom Heimatverein der Stadt Ronneburg betreut. Im Turmgebäude informiert der Heimatverein über historisches Zeitgeschehen und zeigt, wie Generationen vor uns gelebt haben. Wer einmal eine alte Schulbank drücken möchte, hat dazu Gelegenheit. Auf zwei Etagen ist eine Bauernstube, ein Wohnzimmer im Stil von 1900 und ein Klassenzimmer mit Inventar verschiedener Generationen zu sehen. Die DDR-Geschichte und ein kleiner Bereich berichten vom Bergbau in der Region.
