About: Katholische Bonifatiuskirche Leinefelde

Die modern-architektonische Kirche wurde 1988-1989 in der Plattenbausiedlung der Südstadt von Leinefelde neu gebaut und 1993 geweiht. Außergewöhnlich sind die Form sowie die Innenausstattung und die große Verglasung für eine katholische Kirche. Der Innenraum ist sehr schlicht gehalten. Die Stationen des Kreuzweges werden durch Piktogramme dargestellt.

Cette église à l'architecture moderne a été reconstruite en 1988-1989 dans le quartier en préfabriqué de la ville sud de Leinefelde et consacrée en 1993. La forme ainsi que l'aménagement intérieur et les grands vitrages sont exceptionnels pour une église catholique. L'intérieur est très sobre. Les stations du chemin de croix sont représentées par des pictogrammes.

The modern-architectural church was newly built in 1988-1989 in the prefabricated housing estate of the southern city of Leinefelde and consecrated in 1993. The shape as well as the interior decoration and the large glazing are unusual for a Catholic church. The interior is kept very simple.
