Hallo, ich bin René Strobach und komme aus Erfurt. Seit 2000 bin ich Rollstuhlfahrer und Handbiker. Ich bin ich gern zu zweit oder in kleinen Gruppen in Thüringen unterwegs. Gern möchte ich euch hier eine meiner Lieblingstouren entlang der Ilm vorstellen. Ich nutze hierfür das Handbike Speedy Duo 2 der Firma Speedy Reha-Technik GmbH. Die Tour von Weimar nach Oßmannstedt führt - wie auf einer Perlenkette gereiht - an sehenswerten Plätzen wie Goethes Gartenhaus im Park an der Ilm, Schloss und Park Tiefurt, dem Renaissanceschloss Kromsdorf sowie durch herrliche Landschaften aus Feldern und Wäldern vorbei. Der Weg ist größtenteils asphaltiert, und selbst die wenigen Abschnitte mit wassergebundenem Belag sind gut befahrbar. Wer in Weimar startet, hat die Möglichkeit, die zahlreichen kulturellen Highlights der Stadt zu entdecken. Es lohnt sich, etwas Zeit für die Museen oder einen Spaziergang durch die historische Altstadt einzuplanen. Mit ihrem Kopfsteinpflaster und den prächtigen Fassaden fühlt man sich fast in eine andere Zeit versetzt. Direkt zu Beginn der Tour bietet sich ein Abstecher zum Gartenhaus von Goethe an, welches direkt am Startpunkt der Kegelbrücke liegt. Ab der Kegelbrücke geht es auf den Ilmtal-Radweg. Dieser bietet mit seiner ersten kleinen Engstelle gleich etwas Abwechslung – aber keine Sorge, die Passage ist gut einsehbar. Hier gibt es auf der Tour gleich einen ersten Fotospot: Goethes Gartenhaus. Nur ein paar Meter geht kann man noch eine schöne Aufnahme vom Römischen Haus machen. Beides Museen des "Klassischen Weimars" (UNESCO Welterbe). Weiter entlang der Ilm wird es ruhiger, und in Tiefurt lädt der Schlosspark zu einer ersten Pause ein. Hier, inmitten der historischen Gärten, lässt sich die friedliche Atmosphäre wunderbar genießen. Nach Tiefurt verengt sich der Radweg für rund 800 Meter auf 1,55 Meter. Das klingt schmal, lässt sich aber ohne Probleme befahren, denn Gegenverkehr ist in der Regel gut zu erkennen. Besonders schön ist der Abschnitt zwischen Tiefurt und Kromsdorf. Hier radelt man auf den Spuren der Großherzogin Maria Pawlowna, die sich einst wünschte, die Schlösser durch einen Weg zu verbinden. Natursteine mit Goethe-Zitaten säumen den Weg und bieten immer wieder Gelegenheiten, kurz innezuhalten und die Worte des Dichters auf sich wirken zu lassen.Die Tour endet in Oßmannstedt, einem ruhigen Ort, der zum Verweilen einlädt. Von hier aus besteht die Möglichkeit, den Zug zurück nach Weimar zu nehmen. Der Zug fährt vom gut erreichbaren Gleis 1 ab.

Je souhaite vous présenter ici l'un de mes parcours préférés le long de l'Ilm. Pour cela, j'utilise le handbike Speedy Duo 2 de la société Speedy Reha-Technik GmbH. Le parcours de Weimar à Oßmannstedt passe - comme un collier de perles - devant des sites remarquables tels que la maison de jardin de Goethe dans le parc de l'Ilm, le château et le parc de Tiefurt, le château Renaissance de Kromsdorf ainsi que de superbes paysages de champs et de forêts. Le chemin est pour la plupart asphalté, et même les rares sections avec un revêtement en gravier concassé sont bien praticables. Ceux qui partent de Weimar ont la possibilité de découvrir les nombreux points culturels de la ville. Il vaut la peine de prévoir un peu de temps pour les musées ou une promenade dans la vieille ville historique. Avec ses pavés et ses façades splendides, on a presque l'impression de voyager dans le temps. Dès le début du parcours, une excursion à la maison de jardin de Goethe, située directement au point de départ du pont Kegelbrücke, s'impose. À partir du pont Kegelbrücke, le parcours emprunte la piste cyclable Ilmtal. Celle-ci offre dès le premier étranglement un peu de variété – mais pas d'inquiétude, le passage est bien visible. Ici, un premier spot photo s'offre : la maison de jardin de Goethe. À quelques mètres, on peut aussi faire une belle photo de la Maison romaine. Les deux sont des musées du « Weimar classique » (patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO). Plus loin le long de l'Ilm, il devient plus calme, et à Tiefurt, le parc du château invite à une première pause. Ici, au milieu des jardins historiques, on peut savourer merveilleusement l'atmosphère paisible. Après Tiefurt, la piste cyclable se rétrécit sur environ 800 mètres à 1,55 mètre. Cela paraît étroit, mais reste facilement praticable, car le trafic en sens inverse est généralement bien visible. La section entre Tiefurt et Kromsdorf est particulièrement belle. On roule ici sur les traces de la grande-duchesse Maria Pawlowna, qui souhaitait autrefois relier les châteaux par un chemin. Des pierres naturelles avec des citations de Goethe bordent le chemin et offrent à plusieurs reprises l'opportunité de s'arrêter un instant pour laisser agir les mots du poète. Le parcours se termine à Oßmannstedt, un lieu calme invitant à la détente. De là, il est possible de prendre le train pour revenir à Weimar. Le train part du quai 1, facilement accessible.

The path is mostly asphalted, and even the few sections with unpaved surface are easy to ride. If you start in Weimar, you have the opportunity to discover the many cultural highlights of the city. It is worth planning some time for the museums or a walk through the historic old town. With its cobblestones and magnificent façades, you almost feel transported to another time. Right at the beginning of the tour, a detour to Goethe's garden house is possible, which is located directly at the starting point of the Kegelbrücke. From the Kegelbrücke, the route continues on the Ilmtal bike path. This offers a first small narrow passage right away – but don't worry, the stretch is well visible. Here on the tour is the first photo spot: Goethe's garden house. Just a few meters further, you can also take a nice shot of the Roman House. Both are museums of "Classical Weimar" (UNESCO World Heritage). Further along the Ilm, it gets quieter, and in Tiefurt the castle park invites you to a first break. Here, amid the historic gardens, you can wonderfully enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. After Tiefurt, the bike path narrows for about 800 meters to 1.55 meters. That sounds narrow but is manageable without problems, as oncoming traffic is usually easy to spot. Especially beautiful is the section between Tiefurt and Kromsdorf. Here you cycle in the footsteps of Grand Duchess Maria Pavlovna, who once wished to connect the castles by a path. Natural stones with Goethe's quotes line the way and repeatedly offer opportunities to pause briefly and let the poet's words resonate. The tour ends in Oßmannstedt, a quiet place that invites you to linger. From here, there is the option to take the train back to Weimar. The train departs from the easily accessible platform 1.
