The town hall of Treffurt is a Renaissance half-timbered building from the 16th/17th century and is one of the most striking buildings in the historic town center. Particularly striking are the richly decorated carvings on the open staircase, depicting St. George and St. Michael. Below is the town's coat of arms, which refers to the historic tripartite rule over Treffurt. The town hall stands in the middle of the listed town ensemble that characterizes Treffurt with its numerous half-timbered houses and makes the town a popular destination on the German Half-Timbered House Road.
